NESABAMEDIA.COM – 2020 may have been a very meaningful year for Xiaomi. Because the company was able to enter the flagship smartphone market for the first time.
Many people say that the Xiaomi Mi 10 is a flagship smartphone at an affordable price. Now, Xiaomi is preparing to face the challenges of next year, and none other than conquering the smartphone market share based on Snapdragon 888.
Some time ago, Qualcomm has officially released their new chipset specifically for flagship smartphones called Snapdragon 888. Meanwhile, Xiaomi also announced that the Xiaomi Mi 11 will be the first smartphone to be released using the new chipset.
However, the number of smartphones that will be powered by Snapdragon 888 next year is very large. The Xiaomi Mi 11 is not the only smartphone that exclusively uses Snapdragon 888, and other manufacturers will also launch new smartphones with this chip in the first quarter of 2021.
At the same time as Xiaomi announced the Snapdragon 888 smartphone, Realme also announced the same thing. The difference between the announcements was only 2 minutes after Xiaomi’s announcement. Of course this is not a coincidence, because the smell of competition between the two is very strong.
Although so far not much has been revealed about the figure of the Realme Race flagship smartphone, it is believed that the design will use continuous elements like the OnePlus Concept One. The Realme logo will be at the top right, while the top left is the camera case. It is estimated that the main camera uses 64MP. It is expected that the Realme Race will come with 125W fast charging technology.
As an old rival, of course Honor will present a Xiaomi flagship competitor that is no less frightening. The Honor V40 is likely to come with a 300Hz refresh rate technology. Refresh rate of that size will be the highest for a smartphone made in China.
The back design is quite interesting, with a camera case similar to a classic watch, round in shape that accommodates four camera lenses. According to 3C certification, the Honor V40 with model number YOK-AN10 will use 66W charging and 45W wireless.
Oppo Find X3 Series
Oppo is also reported to be using the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Their new smartphone is the Oppo Find X3 series, and will be officially released in the first quarter of 2021.
The latest leak states that this smartphone will use a 6.7-inch screen with QHD 3K technology that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear matrix camera module has two main cameras and an additional lens. The sensor is the same as that used by the Oppo Reno 5 Pro Plus, namely Sony’s IMX766.
iQOO 7 Series
In recent years, iQOO has been able to win the hearts of consumers with its high-level configuration and affordable price. On December 19, iQOO announced that they would be releasing their newest flagship, the iQOO 7, in January.
Interestingly, iQOO will collaborate with BMW to present a special model, namely with a sporty impression. From a leaked video, the iQOO 7 will use Samsung’s flexible AMOLED display, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Although it is still uncertain which main camera will be used, it will most likely use a 48MP IMX598 sensor as the main camera. It also uses 120W fast charging technology.
