In 2020, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Apple had to organize virtual keynotes to present its new products. This year, while the Cupertino company is planning the face-to-face return of its employees, it was hoped that the presentation of the iPhone 13 would take place during a physical event, with an audience.
But unfortunately, given the deterioration of the health situation in the USA, everything suggests that once again, the Cupertino company will rather organize a virtual conference broadcast online. And recently, this was corroborated by a vice president ofApple, who seems to have wanted to leave a clue by modifying his profile picture on Twitter.
The new profile photo of Lisa Jackson, vice president of environment, policy and social initiatives, was taken in a space where Apple often films pre-recorded segments of his virtual conferences. And as the BGR site notes, we can also see filming equipment in the fund, which could lead us to think that the filming of the next keynote is already underway.
Of course, this is just speculation. But it should be noted all the same that the probability thatApple still conducts a virtual conference instead of physical keynotes with an audience is very high. And regarding the timing, many rumors suggest that this year, the iPhone 13 series will be unveiled in September as is tradition.
As a reminder, in 2020, probably because of the constraints linked to the pandemic, Apple introduced its new iPhones in October instead of September (though that’s one of the company’s traditions).
iPhone 13: an improved version of the iPhone 12, but who will be a hit?
Note also that many rumors are already circulating about the iPhone 13 series. A priori, it will only be an improved version of the iPhone 12 series. The design should not change too much. However, Apple would have designed models with smaller notches.
The iPhone 13 series should benefit from a new higher performance processor and camera improvements. In addition, some models may have screens with a refresh rate of 120 Hz which will allow smoother animations.
On the other hand, 5G mmWave (the fastest version of 5G) could be offered in more countries while with the iPhone 12 series, it was only supported by models sold in the USA. . And Apple could also improve MagSafe technology so that we have a faster recharge.
Other products are expected
This fall, in addition to the iPhone 13 series, Apple should feature other products, includingApple Watch 7, new iPads, as well as new MacBooks using the new M1X chip.
But of course, not all of this information is official yet. And therefore, caution is always in order.
