Asus unveils the ROG Phone 6D, including a Batman edition

Asus has introduced new phones in the gaming-focused ROG Phone 6 series, including Batman-themed models. We focus on the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, which among other things got its epithet through higher working memory and storage, more precisely 16GB and 512GB respectively.
A difference compared to the ROG Phone 6 Pro is that the system circuit consists of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ instead of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Another novelty is improved cooling through what Asus calls “AeroActive Portal”.
Cooling can be important during longer sessions in demanding games, as it takes longer for the chip’s performance to throttle due to heat. Otherwise, the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is the same phone as the ROG Phone 6 Pro from last summer.
The price is SEK 14,999 for the model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, with availability on October 10. Asus has also introduced Batman editions of the ROG Phone 6, with a “Leather patch” theme in the interface, exclusive accessories, as well as details on the construction that relate to the superhero.
