Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2v2 Alpha Gunfight gets up early, now lives in …

Activision opens the floodgates in Call of Duty: Modern Alpha Warfare Gunfight Test ahead of schedule.

Downloads for Modern Warfare’s Call of Duty: 2v2 Gunfight alpha, exclusive to PS4, went up as scheduled yesterday, assuming the server will stream today.

Activision surprised fans by changing the server 20 hours earlier, causing a bit of a rush as more and more people are trying to travel. If you haven’t reached it yet, alpha already has a PlayStation Store page where you can queue downloads. Around 36 GB, regardless of what the store page says.

Alpha Gunfight is free to download and does not require an active subscription to PlayStation Plus. So far, there are only three maps available to play: Pine, King, and Speedball. They will open more during the weekend.

Although Alpha Gunfight has yet to be announced for PC or Xbox One, Gunfight will be included in the September beta. Developer Infinity Ward confirmed on Reddit that PC and Xbox One players will be able to play Gunfight during the main beta next month.
