Evil Dead Rise: new film in the franchise gets more details; look!

In addition to taking care of the direction, Cronin also signs the script for the film. He was hand-picked by Sam Raimi, creator of the franchise, who said he was “excited to be working with a director whose talents as a storyteller make him the ideal filmmaker to continue the enduring legacy of evil dead”.

Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols and Nell Fisher complete the film’s cast, with roles not yet released.
