GOG Galaxy improves its interface in a new update
GOG Galaxy now allows you to customize the Recent tab, to have one-click access to your wish list or to update the software more quickly.
These are just the first of several interface changes planned throughout the year by GOG.
GOG Galaxy improves its Recent tab
Still in beta, the GOG Galaxy software has just benefited from an interesting new update. Called “Proteus”, it improves various aspects of the application allowing for memory to aggregate video games from its toy libraries GOG, Steam, Epic, PlayStation and others.
First of all, we note that the sidebar on the left has a button to access your GOG wish list quickly. Same thing in the menu at the top right which wins an entry to check with a click the existence of a possible update. Then, managing DLC for GOG games is now easier with a dedicated tab on the games page, while a form to send feedback on GOG Galaxy more easily is included.
Finally, as shown at the top of this article, the Recent tab can be customized by moving and deleting blocks (activity, recently played, leaderboard friends, etc). This last insert also benefits from a visual overhaul with horizontal bars.
