Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice gets upgraded on Xbox Series X/S

The release of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is turning four years old, and to celebrate the occasion, Microsoft has released a graphical update for the game on the Xbox Series X/S. The novelty was presented on the game’s social networks and also received a trailer on the official Xbox channel on YouTube.

As detailed by Ninja Theory, the update brings improvements to the graphics part of the game, in addition to allowing the use of the Ray tracing feature. The upgrade also features graphics options that let you prioritize visuals or frames per second — the game will run at up to 120 fps on Xbox Series X.

Remember that this update is completely free and affects all versions of the game, whether physical or digital, Cloud Gaming or Xbox Game Pass. The company has confirmed that it is working to bring the improvements to the free PC upgrade, but has no plans to bring the new features to the PlayStation version.

Added to this, Ninja Theory published in its official profile of Twitter a special message for the four years of the game’s release.

“Today marks the fourth year of the release of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice! From all of us at Ninja Theory, thank you very much for all your support,” reads the message.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has already been released for PC, Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as being available on new generation consoles via backwards compatibility.
