One of the trailers left by Sony’s State of Play has to do with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the reboot that Activision and Infinity Ward prepare for the next October 25. Unlike other advances, the new video focuses on the story mode, a central part of the game.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will feature the presence of Captain Price, who despite looking the same, no longer has the same voice or story from the previous three games. The trailer also shows Farrah, a new protagonist from the Middle East, as well as some of the villains.
Unlike the multiplayer videos, Activision has opted for a more cinematic presentation of the story mode, although you can see that the scenes are made within the game engine.
Activision has promised that this mode will be connected to the multiplayer and co-op mode. The publisher also announced a first look at the mode Survival, where we will have to face waves of enemies while defending a point. This mode will be exclusive for one year on PlayStation 4 and will be released to other platforms from October 1, 2020.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be available from October 25 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
