OnePlus TV will be official in September and arrive in Europe

In recent months we have seen how many brands are confirmed that part of their 2019 strategy involves launching a new category of products, smart TVs. Although firms such as LG, Sony or Samsung stand out in this section, others are the ones that will take the first step this year.

The OnePlus TV will arrive in September

The company has published in its blog an image in which it confirms that next month it will be chosen for the official announcement of its new product.

It will be a premium product, probably in line with what is seen with their mobiles, so it is to be expected that a television can rival the best in the market, at a somewhat lower price.

First in India, then in the rest of the world

This presentation will take place in India, a country that is especially important for OnePlus and where it is growing even above more established manufacturers.

However, the brand itself has confirmed that it is working to take this product to markets such as the US, the Chinese or the Europeans. But for this the firm wants to close collaboration agreements with local content creators, so as not to simply arrive with hardware.

OnePlus prepares up to 4 televisions, and will have Android TV

We knew that OnePlus was preparing to launch its first television, but thanks to a record we know that there will be at least 4 models with Android TV.

The firm has not given dates but some leakers have indicated that there will be a presentation of the company in India on September 26 and one worldwide on October 10. And what is presented will go on sale on October 15. Of course, some bet because that date is the presentation of the OnePlus 7T Pro, although it seems something soon, but it could also be the place of presentation of the Oneplus TV.
