PlayStation unveils a black color for its Pulse 3D wireless headset

Last May, Sony Interactive Entertainment unveiled two new colors for the DualSense controller. This week, it’s another accessory of the PS5 that changes its look.

The range of peripherals designed for the PlayStation 5 will soon expand. The Japanese manufacturer has just announced a new Pulse 3D audio headset via the PlayStation-Blog. But, if not the color, few elements (if any) change compared to the copy launched at the end of 2020 alongside the console.

Black, it’s really black

Thus, the Pulse 3D wireless headset will be available from October in a version Midnight Black (or black to make it simpler). A DualSense controller with this shade was also launched in May. Of course, the helmet was designed with the aim of offering perfect compatibility with the Tempest 3D technology of the PS5.

To improve the audio experience, players will be able to use the equalizer included on PS5. Three presets (standard, bass boost and shooter) are available with each Pulse 3D headset. The price has not yet been communicated, but it should be around a hundred euros.
