From February, it will be possible to download the new Pokémon HOME application, which will allow all Trainers to ” continue their adventures across the boundaries of each game system and manage their Pokémon collection across the various games “.
The application is designed as a gathering place for all Pokémon, which will allow each Trainer to collect their Pokémon from games linked to the application, to deposit them in Boxes (in the Cloud) or to move them between compatible games.
One app to bring them all together
The Pokémon Company is very proud to announce the arrival next February of the Pokémon HOME application on iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch. An application aimed at bringing together, in one place, the different Pokémon from various games, on Nintendo Switch, 3DS and mobiles.
The Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME is compatible with Pokémon Sword & Shield and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Eevee.
The Nintendo Switch and mobile versions of Pokémon HOME are compatible with the Pokémon Bank software for Nintendo 3DS.
Exchanges and National Pokédexes
Thanks to Pokémon HOME, in addition to collecting your favorite beasties, it will also be possible to exchange your Pokémon in different ways. Pokémon deposited in the Miracle Box can be traded with people around the world, and thanks to the Global Trade System (GTS), players can specify which Pokémon they wish to receive in exchange for the Pokémon they are offering.
The exchange in group allows, as its name suggests, to create a group and to exchange Pokémon with the people who join it. Each group can contain up to 20 people. Finally, the exchange between friends allows you to exchange Pokémon with nearby users added to your list of friends in Pokémon HOME.
Note that the Pokémon will be registered in the national Pokédex when they are deposited in the Boxes of Pokémon HOME.
HOW MUCH ?
After signing up for an account premium (paid), it is possible to send Pokémon from Nintendo 3DS family games to Pokémon HOME, using Pokémon Bank.
Indeed, the application (on Nintendo Switch) will offer several subscription options, with the possibility of opting for a one, three or twelve month pass, at the following prices:
On iOS and Android, you will have to pay €3.49 for a monthly pass, €5.49 for a quarterly pass and finally €17.99 for an annual pass. This pass premium will give access to additional features compared to the Basic (free) version.
The Pokémon Company specifies that players who have subscribed to an account premium on Pokémon HOME will also have access to the “Judge” function, which allows you to analyze your Pokémon more precisely. Note that, to celebrate the release of Pokémon HOME, Pokémon Bank and Poké Transfer will be available free of charge for one month after the release of Pokémon HOME.
