Rumor: Samsung believes in new Fold and Flip, expects sales success

Foldables still haven’t become mainstream, but the technology could take a big step in that direction later this year. Flexible display technology has become slightly more affordable with each new generation.

According to Ross Young of DSCC, Samsung expects sales success for the Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4. Young claims that Samsung will manufacture twice as many copies of the phones in July as of its predecessors last summer.

He also believes that we may see another price reduction, which is likely – especially for the Flip 4.

Samsung’s Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 phone production for July are more than double what it was for the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. Pointing to a very strong launch. Might see a price cut.
