Sony presents the best TV in its history! Meet the XBR-Z9D, with 100″ screen

Japanese manufacturer Sony announced this Thursday (23) the beginning of sales of the Z9D TV (XBR-100Z9D), with 100 inch LCD screen and a series of features that make this the best line ever produced by the brand. Smart TV, as well as the Bravia A1E model, has Android TV as an operating system, and with it carries a number of important features.
Weighing “only” 144.8 kg (with the table base), the Z9D comes to the market with technology Backlight Master Drive, exclusive to Sony. This new panel, according to the company, “divides the screen into micro-zones, bringing points of light to all areas“, therefore it has more intense shine. Another lighting technology to reduce color distortion is XDR PRO (X-tended Dynamic Range PRO), which works to enhance the contrast
THE TV XBR-Z9D count with X1 Extreme processor, which according to the manufacturer has 40% more processing capacity than the previous one. The TV also features dynamic contrast enhancer, in addition to technology triluminos, which guarantees a better experience for watching videos on 4K HDR.
The idea here is quite interesting, although the content production market in this capacity is still taking its first steps. THE Netflix, for example, has already started the race to compete with other competitors.
With Android TV and Google services
Sony TV XBR-100Z9D also has Android TV, Google’s operating system. Gaining more and more space on platforms other than the smartphones and tablets, Google is a partner of Sony in this release. With this, of course, it is compatible with the applications available on the Play Store, Google Cast and voice searches. It is also worth mentioning that, in addition to these features, the new TV from Sony it has a very elegant look and no wires on the front.

Price and availability
THE Sony did not disclose the price that will be charged for the XBR-100Z9D, but confirms that the pre-sale of the model will take place on March 31 through the company’s direct channels. Because it is clearly a product premium, the price can be quite high. The model with 75″ screen had pre-sales started in October 2016 in Brazil and is also sold on the company’s website.
