Samsung has started sending out the February security update to Galaxy S flagships from the Galaxy S8 onwards. The update is also on its way to the Galaxy Note 8.
Last year’s flagships started receiving the February patch a week ago, while the update for the older models has been spotted now in the day in countries like Germany, Austria, Portugal and the Netherlands.
The Galaxy S8 was released almost three years ago, so it’s impressive that Samsung is still keeping it current in terms of security. The size of the update varies and is between 100 – 315MB.
