“TheAwards” will reward the best Spanish apps and games of 2019

Barcelona will host for the second consecutive year the TheAwards awards, which seek recognition for the best Spanish mobile and iOS applications and games of 2019, organized by the app marketing agency, PickASO and the App Store Optimization tool, TheTool. It will be deliver on October 24 in the Valkyrie Hub Space Barcelona within the ORGANIC event, the 5th edition of the afterwork that brings together more than 300 mobile application marketing professionals from all over Spain. All winners will be rewarded with a package of services whose value amounts to more than 150 thousand euros distributed in the 11 prize categories.

TheAwards: Categories and Awards

Applications submitted to TheAwards will compete for 11 prize categories:

  • Award for Best Mobile Application in Spain of 2019, absolute winner.
  • Award for the best mobile applications by category:
  • Games
  • Finance, Economy and Business
  • Lifestyle
  • Food and drinks
  • Shopping
  • Education and Magazines
  • Travel and Mobility
  • Health and Sports
  • Social Networks and Appointments
  • Creativity and Productivity

Winners will be rewarded with a prize package consisting of services of different companies such as Amazon Web Services, iSocialWeb, Tappx, Acumbamail, SysAdminOk, PickASO, TheTool, wwwhatsnew, among others.

How to take part?

The two requirements to present a mobile application to TheAwards are that the apps have their headquarters in Spain and more than 5,000 downloads on Google Play or App Store. If they meet these requirements, they must fill out this form to participate without any cost.
Once the app sheet is published on the web, they must promote their candidacy to get the maximum number of votes possible until October 18, 2019. The three most voted applications in each category will be the finalists, totaling 30 finalist apps

Jury

Among all the finalist apps the jury will choose One winner of each category and the Best App in Spain of 2019. The name of the winners will be announced on October 24 in Barcelona, ​​within the ORGANIC apps party.

5th Edition of ORGANIC: the app party

Before knowing the name of the winning apps, they will take place two talks about mobile application marketing success stories and a round table with open questions to the speakers about mobile growth, where the interaction of the attendees and the debate will be encouraged. Once the talks and the awards ceremony, the party-networking of the apps will take place.
