The social network Twitter, which will be acquired by Elon Musk, has started testing a new function called “Twitter Circle”. The function limits the visibility of users’ posts to selected people.
The layout brings to mind the defunct network Google+. Users can add a maximum of 150 people to the “Twitter circle”. When posts are published, it is possible to choose that only people in the “Twitter circle” should be able to see the post. These users can react and reply to the post as usual.
The Twitter circle can be expanded or reduced afterwards. The developer does not write when the tweak is supposed to be released to everyone.
Some Tweets are for everyone & others are just for people you’ve picked.
We’re now testing Twitter Circle, which lets you add up to 150 people who can see your Tweets when you want to share with a smaller crowd.
Some of you can create your own Twitter Circle starting today! pic.twitter.com/nLaTG8qctp
