The appearance of a dog hypnotist on Russian state television has returned to the Internet thanks to the amazing ability of the dog to sleep any human simply by looking into his eyes.
Princess, a black Pomeranian from Great Britain, made her Russian television debut in “Amazing People,” a show that highlights people, and apparently pets, with “extraordinary abilities.”
In the September 2018 clip, the owner of Princess, a professional hypnotist, orders a circle of subjects to look into Pomerania’s eyes.
One by one, you can see each person looking into the eyes of the precocious puppy, falling almost instantly on a pile of pillows later, some more convincing than others.
The display of pure hypnotic talent quickly went viral this week after state channel Rossiya 1 published a commercial for the new season of “Amazing People” that included a clip of Princess’s performance. Many people turned to social networks to discuss whether Princess’s powers were real or not, or if everything was on the scene.
Russians do not usually believe in magic and other phenomena. Largely repressed during the Soviet era, pseudoscientific beliefs saw a resurgence in Russian society in the early 2000s, although their popularity has declined in recent years. With information from The Moscow Times.
