Windows 11: soon simplified access to Bluetooth devices
The quick settings input of Windows 11 should soon make it possible to manage Bluetooth devices more conveniently.
For now, you still have to go through the full settings of the operating system.
Windows 11: quick settings that get better
Microsoft is rolling out a welcome new feature to Windows 11 Quick Settings. For the record, this is the pop-up menu that opens when you click the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar , volume or battery.
So far, to interact with a Bluetooth device, you have to click on the corresponding symbol in this menu to open the Windows settings. A functional method, but unnecessarily long.
Now, as shown in the capture above, it will be possible to connect and disconnect Bluetooth devices (headset, keyboard, mouse, etc.) directly from the dedicated menu in the quick settings. For more options, a “More Bluetooth settings” button also remains accessible at the very bottom.
